On the 15-5-2007, the 15 May school's library opened!
The kids at the school were very excited as they haven't seen any such a wonderful library before. There are only small number of libraries in VietNam.
Currently, there are 2534 Vietnamese books including: comic, fiction, sciences, evironnmental, novels, picture books ect. There are also 236 English books from England and there are more coming soon. The kids enjoy the library so much, they come to read books, do homework, play games, watch TV and to relax.
To have a wonderful library like this, we'd like to thank our sponsors for contributions such as;
- Atlas Industries: 15 computers, a generous donation and bringing us books from England.
- Chris: the IT manager who set up all our computers
- Primila Jaloon & Gak Moarein: who gave some money to buy books as well as Matt, James and Ouyen from Atlas Industries and Andrew and Sharon, Saskia & Steve.

Apart from these sponsors, we'd like to thank the team of volunteers who helped to set up the library: Sharon Huyshe, Saskia Halliwell, Ryoko Unemoto, Quyen Quyen, teachers, volunteers, and the children of 15 May school.
They started in January, 2007 by first painting a mural the wall, then they started processing the books. All of them have done a great job!Again, we'd like to say " THANK YOU VERY MUCH " to all of you. We wish you all good health and success!
