Girl's Dance 

After months of planning and anticipation the big day arrived with plenty colours and flare. Once again, our annual fundraising event was a great success due to the help of generous sponsors and volunteers. Over 150 guests attended and enjoyed a feast of entertainment, live music and a huge buffet of exotic dishes from Latin America. Thanks to our talented choreographer-Linh Rateau, the 15 May School dancers gave an exciting performance, with Latin American dance moves with a ‘hip hop’ twist. The dancers from Salsaigon also gave an impressive performance when they took to the dance floor with 3 distinctive dance pieces.

La Fiesta Del Nino or “The Children’s Party” was a party indeed, for adults and children alike. Whist the children enjoyed hand painting, games, dance lessons and breaking the piñata, the adults also enjoyed a free flow of drinks such as sangrias and mojitos, and a taste of Salsa dancing with the help of ‘Salsaigon’.

Apart from all the food and drinks, guests also enjoyed bidding for prizes from the live and silent auctions. There were great prizes up for grabs ranging from holiday packages to medical insurance. The children’s artworks were also a big hit on the auction table as well, with framed artworks large and small made by children whose age ranged from 7-18 years old.
