'Breakin the Cycle'
15 May School's annual May fundraiser has proved year after year the fantastic support the we have within the Ho Chi Minh City community.
This years event was a great success, fun was had by all and importantly we raised over $12,000 to help support the school. Our children performed brilliantly (as always!) and stunned the crowd with their break-dancing and hip-hop abilities.
The idea behind the event came from our Performing Arts Programme in which the children had taken a particular interest in break-dancing. Together, the fundraising team brainstormed and we came up with 'Breakin the Cycle'.
The event was held at the Caravelle Hotel, one of our on-going loyal sponsors, on the 23rd of May. A buffet brunch was provided as well as beer (sponsored by Fosters). The children performed with special guest stars Tien Dat and Da Aya Clan.
A great day was had by all!
